In Puppy Kindergarten, your puppy will learn the following commands:

First Place Dog Training is here to help. Every dog is different; we confer with you and customize our program to meet your needs. We use positive training techniques. While participating in the Doggy Drop off Training, owners are informed of their pet's progress with weekly updates. Upon completion of our Drop Off Boot Camp program, we will schedule time to start to train you to be a good leader when you pick up your dog. (Remember, we will need to train you, the owner as well.)

The $409 cost of our weekly programs includes training, boarding, feeding and care of your pet. We will schedule an owner training session to train the owner, at the time your pet is scheduled to go home, and this is also included in the cost of our Bootcamp programs. Our DOGGY DROP OFF OBEDIENCE PROGRAM is normally a two week program, occasionally three week program. (however, we can train your dog for as many days as you like) Dogs learn all of their basic commands; heel, sit, stay, down and come. We address all types of behavior problems such as jumping, chewing, biting, barking, nipping, leash walking, dog agression, people agression, waiting at the door, etc. At First Place Dog Training we use positive reinforcement training, with praise and reward. We have a modern, indoor, heated and air conditioned facility. Dogs will receive lots of tender loving care throughout their stay at Doggie Boot Camp as well as plenty of time for exercise and conditioning. Our boot camp is the perfect program for owners with more love than time.

• Would like to go on vacation and come home to a trained and well behaved pet
• Due to personal or work schedules are unable to commit time to training
• Those who are encountering problems with their pet and are feeling overwhelmed or desperate with the situation
• Those who are not able to attend dog training puppy classes or dog obedience classes.

First Place Dog Training is one of the leading centers in the Midwest for the Hunting training. We offer both field and water training. We have trained hundreds of dogs to A.K.C. Titles in Junior, Senior, and Master Hunting. Vince has worked with numerous National Shoot to Retrieve Association (NSTRA) champions, as well as trained numerous NAVHDA Prize 1 Dogs. We can do hunting training for the competitor or the occasional hunter as well. We train the full variety of hunting breeds, including:
Pointers
Retrievers, and
Flushers.
